Socktoberfest

I just joined the Socktoberfest. I have a ton of sock knitting to do for Xmas presents. This should be fun!

Something for me....

Lucy in the Sky Cardigan by Cosmicpluto Knits has been started. I am close to creating my own patterns, but I need to try different techniques first. I live in Florida (Mickey's city) and sweaters are not worn very often. However, I use cardigans alot because it tends to get chilly at my office, plus we have GREAT air conditioning in Florida so it is practically cold everywhere. Anyways, I have been looking for a cardigan, raglan pattern. I found this one that I absolutely love! The yarn is Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted in Navy. I absolutely LOVE this color! It is more indigo than navy. The yarn is extremely soft. The cardigan is going well and the diamond pattern is easy to memorize.

More Sock Hop Yarn...I purchased these a month or so ago (they are sold out), but they were on backorder. This is "Love Me Tender".

Happy Birthday Brendan! 10 years old

My beautiful boy is 10 years old! I can't believe it! Where has the time gone? Sorry that I have been absent from my blogging, but I have been spending all my time (away from my son) working on his birthday present. Well, at least the hand knitted one... Teen Moderne Blanket from Mason Dixon.
The colors match his comforter. This is all that I have been working on for the past few weeks. It took FORVER! I hope he likes it.....
