Joined the Jaywalker Club

I have been looking everywhere to find something to knit for my best friend. I couldn't see her wearing a shawl, so I decided to start small. I know...everyone is doing it, so I decided to give it a try...Jaywalker's. I am enjoying the pattern. This yarn works very well with the pattern in that
it creates "stripes" and very visually appealing.

I am using Socks that Rock for the first time. I really
like this yarn! This is Carbon. I already ordered a
second set of yarn...in Carbon Dating.

New to the blogging world

Well, this is my first blog. I have been knitting for over a year and am surprised at how much I love the art. I am not a creative person in my professional life, but have found that I do enjoy colors and textures. Knitting has opened up my creativity but more importantly, has provided me with focus and relaxation.

I love reading all of the knitting blogs that are out there. There are SO many!!! I know that I may not do them justice, but I wanted a place to document and log all of my knitting artful expression and joy.
