In Loving Memory with some bears....

My sister's mother-in-law passed away on Saturday. She had a long battle with cancer and is finally at peace. She was a wonderful person, very giving, loving, kind, etc. She loved my son and I. My son said that everytime he has chocolate he is going to remember her. She always gave chocolates as gifts....great chocolates too! She was an avid Gator fan and loved her family and grandchildren. She was 61. Too young.
Margaret Battenfield...may you rest in peace...you will be missed but always remembered and loved.

Knitty Gritty has been showing some new episodes. Last week's topics were charities. They made a bear for the Mother Bear Project that I thought was adorable. I wanted to do something for my niece and nephew to remember their grandmother. So, I decided to make them bears. Can I just say how much fun this was? I felt like my own grandmother, my dad's mom, who used to love making dolls. She made beautiful things from sewing. I am going to make some more for charity.
The funeral is tomorrow and I worked all weekend on these two bears. Did you notice the Gator colors? In loving memory of Margaret...
